In an election this competitive, it is essential that voters know what sets Mira apart in this field of candidates. Mira is a dedicated public servant with experience ranging from managing grants and public dollars in City Hall, to the Orange County Library System, and even civil rights work through Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida. For almost 15 years, she’s been planting deep roots in Central Florida and helping the community thrive through both local government and local nonprofits– and she’s ready to bring this expertise and energy to the Orlando City Council.
We’re calling voters to make sure they have this upcoming Election Day on their calendars, to help them make a plan to vote, and to ask that they vote for Mira Tanna as their representative on the City Council. Grassroot volunteer efforts like this can make all the difference in local elections, and that’s why we need friends of Ruth’s List to help out!
You can register for this event on Mira’s Mobilize, and please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions!
