Dear Friend,

On Saturday, July 26th, families in every corner of the country will come
together in peaceful marches, rallies, gatherings, and actions to say: Our
families come first, and we will continue to come together, and rise for
each other.

mobilization. Events are being planned as we speak—and more will be added
as we get closer to the 26th!

What’s happening? The Big Bad Betrayal Bill that Republicans passed in
Congress and President Trump signed into law will lead to 17 million
people losing health insurance and needless suffering, hunger, and higher
costs for many of our families and communities. [ [link removed] ]THIS IS NOT OK!

That’s why we're gathering peacefully in all 50 states and Washington,
D.C. against the cruel choice to trade our health, safety, and basic needs
to make the rich richer. We're going to make sure every one of our friends
and neighbors hears about the historic betrayal of everyday families in
America—and how Republican leadership in Congress and the White House
chose cuts to programs we all need to fund cruel attacks on immigrants and
more tax breaks for the rich, undermining the health and safety of all of
our families.

People everywhere, in groups of all sizes—from 2 to 200 or more—are
meeting up in peaceful marches, rallies, and actions to say: The families
of America are watching, and will continue to stand strong for our
families, our communities, our economy, and our country.

This is a peaceful, nationwide mobilization organized by a coalition of
unions, advocacy groups, faith leaders, and families committed to
protecting democracy, dignity, and care. All events are grounded in
nonviolence, community safety, and strategic protest.
