Don’t take our word for it—the numbers speak for themselves: In 2024, Colorado was a rare bright blue spot in a sea of red. Compared to states like California and New York, which saw ten-point shifts to the Republican Party, Colorado only shifted by 2.5 points one of the lowest rates in the nation. Colorado Democrats also held onto their majorities in the state legislature, which was far from a guarantee.
Republicans haven’t won a presidential election in Colorado since 2004, while Democrats have steadily made gains across our state—gains that Michael Bennet helped forge and are now receiving nationwide attention.
