In the last century, America led the world. We beat back autocrats, built a thriving middle class, invented new industries, and advanced civil rights.
Now, many Americans feel we’ve lost our way. Those triumphs are a distant memory, and our sense of shared purpose is fading.

It’s time for a New American Century. Here’s how we get there: * Renew the American Dream – Every American deserves the chance to build a meaningful life — with good jobs, economic security, and the freedom to care for their families. We must ensure that opportunity is within reach for all.
* Build the Future – Innovation is the key to progress. From healthcare to education to clean energy, we need to invest in the breakthroughs that will fuel a stronger economy, combat climate change, and defend democracy at home and abroad.
* Fight for Freedom – Freedom is under threat at home and abroad. Authoritarianism is on the rise, our rights are being stripped away, and our democracy is in danger. We must unite to defend the freedoms that past generations fought for — because it’s our turn now.
We can only build this New American Century if our leaders know how to deliver it. I have spent my life advancing this vision in classrooms, courtrooms, and boardrooms.
As a public school teacher, I worked to expand opportunity for every child. As a prosecutor in the Obama Justice Department, I held corporations accountable for exploiting the public. And at Microsoft, I helped build the economy of the future.
I’ve seen what’s possible when we combine big ideas with the determination to act. That’s the leadership I’ll bring to Congress — but I can’t do it alone.
