John, I first ran for office in 2018 because I couldn’t sit back and watch Donald Trump attack our shared values.

Now, once again I see the people and principles I’ve spent my life and career in the military working to uphold under attack. By winning this seat, we can make progress for working families. And that’s why I’m stepping up this time to run for governor.

On the other hand, my opponent, Jack Ciattarelli, is standing by Donald Trump as he decimates the rule of law and slashes access to health insurance. He’s even said that he doesn’t disagree with Trump on any issue.

Trump’s awful budget bill hikes our energy costs. It sets up more than four hundred thousand New Jerseyans to lose their health care. It adds trillions of dollars to our national debt. And it gave billionaires a massive tax break.

Ciattarelli wants to bring that very same agenda to New Jersey.

John, let me be clear: New Jersey is a battleground state and this race is going to be competitive all the way to Election Day. The last governors’ race here was decided by just three points, and Republicans are already stockpiling millions to attack me.

So I’m counting on grassroots supporters like you to give us the resources to compete and win this critical race.
