summer months when they don't have access to school meals.
Since 2019, the Jamestown YMCA has received more than $80,000 in
grants from No Kid Hungry to help expand the reach of its summer meals
program. These funds have helped the YMCA purchase delivery vans and
kitchen equipment, and they've helped cover staffing and costs
for its growing network of meal drop-off sites. With this support, the
number of meals distributed to kids has increased by a third -
and up to 50% at some sites.
