The big, ugly bill has been signed into law and New York City is about to feel its effects.

In New York City, almost 4 million people use Medicaid, and 3 million use food assistance. With Trump and the GOP’s big, ugly bill, millions in New York could be kicked off of their health insurance and food stamps.

I proudly voted against this bill, but almost every GOP Congressmember voted for it.

Trump’s agenda is going to lead to so many New York families struggling. Even though the president has signed this bill into law, I won’t stop fighting against it and its impacts.

As we see working families and small businesses struggle to get by, I won’t back down from standing with them and fighting for a better city and country.
