Hosting a Live Telephone Town Hall

On Wednesday night, I held a live telephone town hall to speak directly to constituents in Illinois' 16th Congressional District.

I always appreciate hearing directly from my constituents about issues being debated in Congress. It was great to give an update on what Congress is working on, the importance of the One Big Beautiful Bill, Republicans’ efforts to strengthen Medicaid, support for veterans, and the work we are doing to secure our southern border. I also highlighted the constituent services my office can help with.

My Interview with WTVO on the One Big Beautiful Bill

Republicans were elected on two core issues: fixing the unmitigated disaster at our southern border and strengthening the economy. The One Big Beautiful Bill does both.

This landmark bill revives the economy and makes the largest-ever investment in border security.

Visiting the Rosecrance Harrison Campus

The Rosecrance Harrison Campus in Rockford does incredible work to provide veterans, service members, and their families with behavioral health care services.

I'm grateful to Col. Baggio, Col. Draeger, Craig Riehle, Craig Stallings, and all the employees who are committed to supporting veterans in the Rockford Community!

Touring the Western Avenue Community Center

During my day in Bloomington, I stopped by the Western Avenue Community Center to learn more about the educational and health programs they offer residents.

Executive Orders Codified in the One Big Beautiful Bill

When House Republicans passed the One Big Beautiful Bill, we codified 28 of President Trump's executive orders!

Together, we are securing our border, strengthening U.S. national security, and unleashing American energy.

My Stop at Bergstrom

During my stops in Rockford, I visited Bergstrom to emphasize how the One Big Beautiful Bill protects, strengthens, and supports manufacturing jobs in Illinois' 16th Congressional District.

Meeting with the Winnebago County Board Chairman

It was great to meet with Winnebago County Board Chairman Joe Chiarelli and Marlana Dokken in Rockford to hear about their public safety initiatives and priorities for the county.

I’m grateful for their leadership and dedication to the people of Winnebago County!

One More Thing: Praying for Texas

As rescue and recovery operations continue, my prayers remain with all those impacted by the devastating floods in Texas.

I am incredibly grateful for all the first responders and volunteers, including Rescue 136 from Dixon, who are working tirelessly to assist families and the Texas community in response to this tragedy.
