For nearly five decades, John has challenged tyranny in all its forms—confronting powerful institutions, speaking truth to power, and sounding the alarm about the steady erosion of our constitutional freedoms. He has:
* Defended whistleblowers, activists, and the vulnerable
* Called out corruption and unchecked power—on both sides of the aisle
* Stood as a champion for the Constitution, even when it wasn’t popular to do so

Through it all, he has never asked for recognition—only that the truth be told and freedom defended. But today, we pause to honor the man behind the mission.
