John,
The US and EU enabled horrors in Gaza won’t stop: this week, missiles
rained down on displaced families sheltering in tents, killing dozens. 700
starving men, women, and children have been killed at food distribution
sites in the past few weeks alone.
We CANNOT let this devastating violence continue in our name. And now,
finally, we have a crucial opportunity to hold the Israeli government to
account. In days, EU Foreign Ministers will meet to decide whether to
suspend the EU-Israel Association Agreement – the deal that gives Israel
privileged trade access to Europe.
This time, a suspension is actually on the table. And all eyes are on
Italy as the country that could make or break this historic vote, giving
us just 2 DAYS to tip the balance.
We’re rapidly ramping up a high-impact campaign in Italy – mobilising a
massive wave of public outcry, briefing key journalists and diplomats,
running targeted ads to keep the pressure, and flooding Italian media with
our message.
But to keep going at this scale, we urgently need your help. Will you chip
in now to help us push Italy to vote to suspend trade with Israel – and
fuel Ekō’s bold campaigns for justice?

The pressure on Europe to act has reached a boiling point. Spain just
revoked the export license of Israeli weapons manufacturer Rafael, halting
a nearly $300 million deal to send Israel more missiles. Now, Spain’s FM
is publicly calling on the rest of the EU to follow.
On July 15, EU foreign ministers will be presented with a list of measures
to take against the Israeli government, the strongest of which is a
suspension of the EU-Israel Association Agreement – something our
community has been demanding for years.
Together, we’ve helped push this moment to the brink of breakthrough and
now we need to go all in. Italy’s vote is urgently needed to win a
qualified majority, but Prime Minister Meloni and Foreign Minister Tajani
are under huge pressure not to act. That’s why, over the next five days,
we’re:
* Running targeted ads exposing the truth about EU-Israel trade and
pushing Meloni and Tajani to act.
* Delivering public opinion polling we commissioned through rapid
response media work to influence the debate as it happens.
* Holding briefings for diplomats, journalists, and key stakeholders to
shift elite opinion.
Our team is racing to pull it all off, and if enough of us chip in today,
we can supercharge our efforts in these final days – can you urgently help
us finally hold Israel to account?

Your donation will help power Ekō and our campaigns worldwide fighting for
people and the planet.
For years our community has been advocating for an end to Israeli
apartheid. From Ben and Jerry's to AXA, we've successfully pressured some
of the world's biggest brands and financial institutions to stop investing
in the illegal occupation. Let's do it again, and make sure the EU upholds
its own standards when it comes to Israel's war crimes.
Thanks for all that you do,
Allison and the Ekō team
