Hi, it's Democratic Congressman and top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, Robert Garcia.

By now, you’ve heard that Republicans have passed their horrific bill.

In a moment, I’m going to explain what’s in the bill and why it matters that these sellout Republicans just passed it, but first, I have an urgent request;

We need to get to work NOW to take back the House from these MAGA Republicans so that we can begin to fix what they just broke. That starts with grassroots supporters like you chipping in $5, $10, or more right now. Can I count on you?

Let's be very clear, as a result of this legislation:

→ 17 million Americans will lose their health care.

→ Millions will lose their food assistance.

→ ICE will get supercharged with more funding for detentions without due process.

And why? So billionaires can get more tax breaks.

In the years to come, we cannot let the Republicans who made this possible forget the pain that they’ve just caused to the American people.

That’s why I’m asking grassroots Democrats like you to join me in organizing, peacefully protesting, fighting back, and doing everything we can to slow down the effects of this horrific bill.
