First Liberty has filed a charge of discrimination with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) against Bath & Body Works on behalf of Jocelyn Boden.
Why? She was fired for not adhering to the company’s pronoun policy because of her religious beliefs.
Jocelyn was an excellent store manager for Bath & Body Works for over three years. But then, a complaint was filed against her for not using a new employee’s preferred pronouns.
Even though Bath and Body Works could have easily accommodated Jocelyn, they terminated her instead.
Watch First Liberty’s Stephanie Taub discuss the details of this case and explain how Bath and Body Works wrongfully forced Jocelyn to choose between her faith and her job.

Companies like Bath and Body Works can’t be allowed to discriminate against religious employees. Forcing employees to violate their conscience and religious convictions violates the federal Civil Rights Act.
That’s why we are standing with Jocelyn. And that’s why we’ve taken the first step of filing a complaint against Bath and Body Works with the EEOC.
But to win, we need your help.
