This coming Monday, July 14, we celebrate a powerful moment in the global history of freedom—and a personal milestone in our own fight for liberty.
 
July 14 is Bastille Day—a day when citizens dared to stand up against tyranny. While centuries have passed since the storming of the Bastille, the principle remains the same: when government power goes unchecked, it is the duty of free people to speak out.
 
It’s also the 79th birthday of John W. Whitehead, founder of The Rutherford Institute—one of the most courageous freedom fighters of our time and a man whose voice and vision have inspired generations to defend the Constitution and resist injustice.
 
For over four decades, John has been that spark:

• Challenging government overreach
• Defending the marginalized and silenced
• Empowering “We the People” to know and defend our rights

I’ve seen firsthand his relentless commitment to liberty—often at great personal cost. His life’s work is a testament to the power of principle, conviction, and courage.
