The Supreme Court was created to be an independent branch of government and a check on the power of the president and Congress.
That’s why the current court is so dangerous: The conservative supermajority (HALF of whom were appointed by Donald Trump) has shown they will vote in lockstep with Trump's MAGA agenda – no matter what.

Just look at what they've done:

- Limited federal judges’ ability to pause Trump’s chaotic executive orders – even those that are deemed unlawful and unconstitutional
|
- Granted Trump broad immunity for so-called "official acts” as President
|
- Broke with nearly 50 years of precedent to overturn Roe v. Wade, opening the door for abortion bans and attacks on abortion providers across the country
|
- Cleared the way for Trump and DOGE to continue mass layoffs – affecting hundreds of thousands of jobs!
