Vice President JD Vance Honored with The Claremont Institute’s Statesmanship Award

On Saturday in Rancho Santa Fe, we presented The Claremont Institute’s 2025 Statesmanship Award to Vice President JD Vance.

This remarkable evening launched our new Golden Age Agenda event series, dedicated to renewing American greatness through bold leadership, national vision, and cultural revival.

We honored Vice President Vance for his courage, clarity, and enduring commitment to the principles of the American Founding. His remarks offered a stirring call to reject cynicism and reclaim the will to build. He spoke of gratitude for America, the need to see our civilization rise again, and the importance of an American nation working together to build great things once more.

Claremont was proud to recognize his leadership, just as we were proud to gather with many of our closest friends and supporters for this historic occasion, such as Claremont Lincoln Fellow and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, who served as the evening's emcee.

Vice President Vance joins the distinguished company of previous Statesmanship Award recipients, such as President Ronald Reagan, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, and Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito. And we believe his leadership—alongside President Trump’s—will face down America’s most urgent challenges with realism and resolve, shaping the forthcoming Golden Age of America.
