Marie is facing another tough re-election battle, so we’re working hard to build an unbeatable grassroots campaign that has what it takes to defend this seat once again next year. We just welcomed our three new Democracy Summer Fellows to Team Marie, and we couldn’t be more excited to have them on board to help shore up our campaign outreach right away.

Let us introduce Max, Miley, and Madeleine: Max Robben , entering his 3rd year at Grinnell College, is greatly excited to be spending his summer working to re-elect MGP. When he's done working for the day, he likes to play board games and spend time with friends.

Miley Coté is a rising Junior at the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics. Miley was inspired to spend their summer with Democracy Summer and MGP’s campaign while volunteering for the congresswoman. During their free time, they enjoy playing soccer and taking their dog for long walks.

Madeleine Schreiber , a second year at the University of Chicago studying Political Science and Economics, is super excited to be interning with the MGP campaign this summer. In addition to working with MGP, Madeleine also interns with the Counter Extremism Project and works for Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream. In a nationally-watched race that will decide the next House majority, early preparation is key. From welcoming our Fellows this summer, to staffing up and growing our volunteer program over the coming months, this will take serious resources.
