Did you catch me on MSNBC?
I went on the morning news to expose the truth about scammers. They’re out of control, and they’re preying on and stealing hard-earned money from folks around the country.
If you’ve ever received a text or call about an “unpaid toll” or a “job offer” you don’t remember applying to, you know exactly how sophisticated scammers have gotten online and on our phones.
These claims of fake “unpaid bills” and fraudulent “job offers” have resulted in scammers stealing $1 trillion from unsuspecting folks.
Americans are now losing more money to scams than ever before — outpacing burglary and car theft.
There’s more that can and should be done, especially since many people fall victim to these scams. We’ve already seen scammers begin to target people affected by the tragic floods in Texas.
I’m ready to lead the charge and take action to address this issue head-on. No one deserves to be swindled out of their hard-earned money. That’s why I’m taking this issue on to fight for hardworking people across the country, so I’m personally asking: Will you please pitch in to fuel my work in the Senate?
