Dear Educator:

I am reaching out to express my concern about the proposed resolution to remove ADL materials from schools. This decision would negatively impact both Jewish and non-Jewish students by limiting their understanding of antisemitism, the Holocaust and other forms of bias and hate. I urge you to oppose this resolution and stand with your colleagues in support of the students you serve.

This decision affects more than just Jewish educators and students; it undermines the essential role of education in combating all forms of hate. Education is a powerful tool for promoting understanding and inclusivity, and it is crucial that we maintain access to resources that support these goals.

I call on you to use your voice and ensure NEA members reject this resolution and continue to share valuable educational resources and programs from ADL. Educators have the responsibility to choose tools that foster safer classrooms and empower students to stand against hate. Limiting access to these resources will not only cause harm but will make it harder for educators to find quality, research-backed materials on antisemitism and the Holocaust.

Please vote against this resolution and prioritize the educational needs and safety of all students.
