The Lincoln Project

Friend,

Instead of reading through the thousands of stories and tweets about what our “president” and his regime are doing regarding the tragic situation in Texas, just refer to our patented Trump problem-solving process to see what he’s been up to:

  • Tear down something that's actually helping the American people, in this case the National Weather Service.
  • React badly to a tragedy that the said thing could have helped avert, in this case freaking out on Truth Social.
  • Go golfing, in this case while hundreds of Americans are missing.
  • Blame Biden, the president who left office six months ago.
  • Change the subject to a much more pressing issue, in this case why Washington’s football team name should be changed back to a racial slur.

Accurate, right?

This is nothing new. This is how Trump handles a crisis. This is the best he has to offer. His solution to every single problem is to burn everything to the ground.

At a time like this, we need to fix things, not burn them down.

And that’s exactly what we’re focused on: showing voters why Donald Trump’s approach is broken. Because the more Americans who understand that, the better chance we have at making things right next year.

Help us be ready to take down Trump in 2026 >>
