Okay, we’re being a little sarcastic, but the problems are very real: Amazon workers face brutal conditions. Wages are low. Surveillance is high. Union-busting is rampant. Workers say the warehouses are “starting to turn into a labor camp.”

And the company's carbon emissions? Through the roof. Cities like Venice are sinking more rapidly due to climate change driven by oligarchs like Bezos. As a young person, I’m scared of a future where billionaires get to wreck the economy and the planet just to make themselves richer.
