In what might have been the first legitimate act of journalism he's ever performed in his entire career, Doocy flatly asked, "So what happened to the Epstein client list that the attorney general said she had on her desk?" What followed from Leavitt was grade-A gobbledygook and a pathetic dodge instructing the press corps to ask the attorney general for clarification. The Trump administration is clumsy and uncaring in everything they do, but this show of laughable contempt towards their own supporters and to the people in the administration who broke their bread hawking endless Epstein conspiracy theories — like the current FBI director, current deputy FBI director, and the goddamn vice president — is the first but certainly not last instance of how capital F Fascism uses, humiliates, and exploits the very people who serve it before eventually tossing them aside when they're no longer useful.

Texas county deflects mounting questions over actions before deadly flood
As deaths from catastrophic Texas flooding surpassed 100 on Monday, local officials in one of the hardest-hit counties have still revealed little about what, if any, actions they took to safeguard residents, tourists and visitors in an area known as "flash flood alley." At a series of briefings since the flooding on July 4, Kerr County officials have deflected a series of pointed questions about preparations and warnings as forecasters warned of life-threatening conditions. The county in the scenic Texas Hill Country is home to several summer camps, including Camp Mystic, an all-girls Christian summer camp that announced Monday it lost at least 27 campers and counselors. "Today’s not the day and now’s not the time to discuss the warnings, who got them, who didn’t got them. Right now I’m only worried about public safety," Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha said Monday during an emergency session of the county commissioners court. We'll certainly be following this story to learn when, in fact, is the appropriate time to discuss the warnings, who got them, and when.

We should mention at this point that Elon Musk's brother was "set up" with a girlfriend by Epstein. Rather than creating an "artificial intelligence," it's obvious that Elon is battling to turn Grok into yet another misinformation machine to push his twisted, deeply bigoted worldview on one of the world's largest social media networks.
