Hey there. It’s Antonio Delgado.
I’m reaching out to respectfully ask if you can make a $10 contribution to my campaign before our public reporting deadline hits at the end of this week.
I’m asking at a critical moment – for our campaign, for New York, and for the country. Please, give me a moment to explain:
Two weeks ago, Zohran Mamdani won the New York City Democratic primary. He ran on an affordability agenda, and promised to control the costs that are driving people to leave New York.
Last week, Donald Trump signed into law massive cuts to Medicaid and SNAP – so that they could fund handouts to the wealthy.
Establishment Democrats like Kathy Hochul have spent more time hemming and hawing about Zohran’s win than they have explaining why Trump’s bill is so damaging.
That’s why it’s so critical that our campaign wins. The establishment playbook just fundamentally isn’t prepared to meet this moment.
But our campaign is coming up on our biggest test yet. After Friday, my team has to release our fundraising numbers – both how much we’ve raised, and our total number of donors.
If we’re going to compete with Kathy Hochul’s corporate-funded warchest, we need to put out a strong showing.
That’s why I’m writing to you. I need your help. Emails like this one are a critical part of our grassroots team. Thanks to New York’s public matching funds program, all donations from in-state residents are matched 6-to-1 – so anything you can give really makes a major difference.
So I’m asking, very humbly:
Can I count on you to make a $25 or $10 contribution before the end of the week?
I appreciate all you’re doing,
Antonio Delgado
