DOGE is raiding the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) with the goal of revising or eliminating dozens of public safety rules and gun restrictions.

Allowing more untraceable homemade weapons, known as ghost guns, to flood into our communities
- Restoring gun rights to criminal offenders, including domestic abusers

Essentially eliminating federal inspections of gun dealers, giving gun traffickers permission to break the law.
With federal law enforcement being gutted, the PA State Police must step up to enforce the law in our state. The PA State Police already have the authority to ensure licensed gun dealers follow the law and to take action when they don't.
