Pride Month has ended, but the fight for Trans Rights continues daily. More now than ever, the LGBTQIA+ community is under attack from the federal administrations' agenda.

Over the past 6 months, I've been speaking out at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, where the administration has decided to remove their gender affirming department in order to comply with the fascist regime in the white house.

More and more trans individuals are being used as political punching bags from the right. As a trans person, I cannot sit back and allow this to happen.

I want to protect California from those infringing on our rights.

When elected, I plan to allocate $100,000,000 dollars for Trans healthcare and protections in California. Our fight is intersectional and all of us deserve free healthcare. I will fight for this in office, and we will win this fight.

I was recently awarded the Los Angeles City Council District 13, 2025 Pride Honoree Certificate, and while I am truly grateful, I feel the work to keep our community safe is far from over.

Pride is a duality in 2025. As queer people we experience joy simultaneously with our sorrow. We celebrate, but we fight. We make strides, but are constantly being met with resistance.

Is it too much to ask for a country where people are able to live and thrive as they truly are?

I don't think it is. I don't think California believes it is either.

Let's lead the country into a future that is truly equitable for all.
