Dear Fellow Conservative,
Amanda Collins Johnson did everything right that night – but the results were
terribly wrong.
She parked in a well-lit garage, walked with a group of classmates, and
followed campus policy, leaving her legally owned firearm at home.
But none of that stopped a man who was hiding behind her car, waiting with a
gun in a gun-free zone.
What happened next is every woman’s worst nightmare.
At our 2024 College Women’s Summit in Nashville, Amanda shared her harrowing
story of surviving an assault on her college campus – a place where women
should feel safe.

But because it was a gun-free zone, she was prohibited from carrying her
legally permitted firearm, leaving her without the means to defend herself when
it mattered most.
Now, Amanda speaks out – so other women aren’t left defenseless like she was.
She’s urging women to use their voices to fight for their Second Amendment
rights and for policies that recognize every woman’s right to defend herself
and her family.
As Amanda puts it, women are too often first in line when facing danger.
That’s why they must be prepared to defend themselves and the people they love.
And at the Luce Center, we equip young women with the courage and skills they
need to stand up for their Second Amendment rights.
Through our Day at the Range program, young women receive life-saving
professional firearms training at ranges across the country. This program
teaches essential self-defense skills while encouraging women to advocate for
the rights that protect their freedom.
But our Day at the Range program wouldn’t be possible without the generous
support of freedom-loving Americans like you.
Will you help us equip the next generation of American women with the
confidence and skills necessary to defend themselves and their rights by making
a tax-deductible gift today?

And here’s what your gift can do:
* Gifts of $100 provide the essential training resources needed for a single
event!
* Gifts of $250 will sponsor one young woman to receive expert instruction
and hands-on experience at the range!
* Gifts of $500 cover ammunition and gear for a single event!
* Gifts of $2,500 underwrites a complete Day at the Range for a group of
10-12 young women!
But every gift, no matter how big or small, can mean the difference between a
young woman beingpeaceful versus defenseless.
Amanda’s story is a powerful reminder that every woman deserves both the
right – and the ability – to protect herself. That right must never be taken
for granted.
Thank you for standing with the young women of America and our Second
Amendment Right.
In Friendship and Freedom,
Kimberly Begg
