John, House Republicans just voted to pass Donald Trump’s plan to strip over a BILLION dollars in federal funding for public broadcasters PBS and NPR.

Millions of Americans trust PBS and NPR for accurate reporting that holds politicians accountable to the people. If Republicans get their way and silence public media, it will only be that much easier for misinformation to run rampant and wreak havoc in our politics.

Republicans have made it clear that they’ll come after any news outlet that refuses to back Donald Trump’s culture war agenda. But we REFUSE to let this ideological attack on the truth stand.
