Please read my recent op-ed in The Wall Street Journal about Zohran Mamdani’s victory and what it means for Democrats.

Mamdani’s win should be a wake-up call for our party. He tapped into the same economic discontent that powered Donald Trump’s rise. But both of their solutions are wrong.

If Democrats want to win back the middle class, we have to return to our roots: fighting for working people with common sense solutions that actually improve lives.
