They say we don’t vote. They say we don’t care.
John,
They love to count young people out.
They say we don’t vote. They say we don’t care. That we’re too naive, too disorganized, too idealistic to win in politics.
But in New York City, young people proved the doubters wrong. Again.
Zohran Mamdani, a bold progressive candidate with the support of Leaders We Deserve, defeated the status quo and won the Democratic primary in the NYC Mayor’s race.
And he did it because young people SHOWED UP.
We knocked on doors. We posted TikToks. We handed out flyers in seven languages. WE built an intergenerational coalition of people who were sick of the failed political establishment and ready to go hard for a candidate they finally felt excited about.
And we won.
We proved that when you show up for young people, they show up for you.
This kind of movement is exactly what we’re building together at Leaders We Deserve. But this work doesn’t happen by accident – it takes organizing. It takes trust. And yeah, it takes money.
Billionaires and special interests love to bankroll the status quo. Us? Not so much. We rely on people just like you to fuel this work. That’s why these emails are so important.
We know every person reading this can’t make a donation today. But if you can show your support, there has never been a better time to back our powerful movement.
John, please rush in a $5 contribution right now to support our work.

Young people are ready to run for office, win elections, and make the change we all want to see. But they can’t do it alone. Thanks for stepping up for the next generation.
