I was on the ground in Los Angeles—glass shattering overhead, people struck by debris, American flags burning, and police under attack. I felt a sense of menace and lawlessness.
I couldn’t contain my frustration.
You don’t see these scenes in other states.
This didn’t happen by accident, it was by design.
This is the result of fifteen years of one-party Democratic rule, creating an upside-down morality where those who do the wrong thing are rewarded while people who do the right thing are punished.
Governor Newsom, Mayor Bass, and the local officials in Los Angeles have failed us. They let rioters run rampant while law-abiding Californians suffer.
But there is hope.
Californians want violent criminals removed from their communities, and they don’t want a government that allows riots. If we are ever going to win back California, it’s now while this is fresh in everyone’s minds.
