Team,
As first responders and emergency services are still deploying in response to the deadly flash flooding across Central Texas, and efforts in Kerr County continue to be focused on active search-and-rescue operations, we’re reaching out to offer you a way to help in recovery efforts.
If you or anyone you know are in the Kerr County area experiencing flooding we urge you to stay alert to emergency notifications. We also sent a separate message to those in our database in the Kerr County area with emergency resources — you can find those at the bottom of this email.
If you are safe from the flooding and looking for a way to help aid in recovery efforts, please consider a donation to our partners at the Texas Progressive Caucus’s flood relief fund or one of these groups working to get resources to flood victims. Funds generated will go towards urgently needed supplies and relief for flood victims in Kerr County and elsewhere in the Texas Hill Country.
Below are additional resources, contacts and emergency information for those impacted.
- Always dial 911 for emergencies
- Never attempt to drive through flooded roads: turn around, don’t drown.
