Washington, D.C. – I had a great conversation with Michael Malone of Malone/Maxwell/Dennehy Architects about the American Institute of Architects priorities, especially on tax policy. As a member of Ways and Means and Small Business Committee, I’m focused on ensuring that architects and other small businesses have the support they need to succeed.

Had the chance to sit down with the Wine Institute and hear directly from American wine producers about what it takes to own and operate vineyards here in the U.S. These producers aren’t just making world-class wine, they’re supporting thousands of American jobs and fueling economic growth across the country.

Gas prices are down nearly 35 cents across Texas. We saw this firsthand in Texas-24, below are some pictures from Addison, Dallas, Farmers Branch, Keller, and Southlake.

Yesterday, House Republicans united to pass the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. This is a major step forward in securing our border, strengthening national security, and delivering historic tax relief for working families, seniors, and small businesses. Read more about it in my Work of the Week.

Texas-24 Work of the Week

This week, we passed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. I have worked on the tax portion of this bill for the last two years which will deliver tax relief for working families, seniors, and small businesses.

Texas-24 Hometown Hero

This week's Texas-24 Hometown Hero is Officer John Chandler, who recently retired following his 20 years of dedicated service to the Grapevine Police Department and to our North Texas community. As he enters his next chapter, we extend our best wishes to him for a well-deserved retirement!
