John – today, we celebrate the birth of America!

Let us remember the founding principles of our country: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

These principles have guided our country’s democracy for 249 years. They continue to be the core of our government, society, and culture. It is on these principles that we’ve built the American Dream.

We cannot take these founding principles as a given. Our freedoms and democracy have to be fought for and defended, protected against extremists that want to tear our country apart.

Thank you to everyone who donated and supported my end-of-quarter fundraising efforts. Our strong numbers show that we will never stop fighting for our freedoms, the very core of our country.

However you are spending today, I hope you join me in celebrating our beautiful country and our founding principles. And let us not forget the bravery of the revolutionaries that got our independence, nor can we forget the importance of defending our freedom every day.
