As we celebrate the 4th of July, we remember that patriotism isn’t just about fireworks and parades; it’s about standing up for the values that make this country worth celebrating freedom, justice, and democracy for all.

This Independence Day let’s celebrate not just with fireworks and cookouts, but with the fire in our hearts to continue pushing forward. The work of building a better, more inclusive America is far from over. But we know that with your passion and dedication change is possible.

I ask for all of us to recommit ourselves to protecting the freedoms we enjoy that are under attack today—from the right to vote, to the right to learn, to the right to live free from fear and discrimination.

That’s why we’re calling on all Broward Democrats to turn celebration into action.

Next weekend, we’re mobilizing across Broward County for a Weekend of Action to register voters, re-enroll Democrats in Vote-by-Mail, and make sure our neighbors are ready for the critical elections ahead. Whether you’ve never volunteered before or you’re a seasoned organizer, there’s a role for you.
