President Trump’s "One Big Beautiful Bill" is a done deal—and we even met that 4th of July deadline.
Despite the media’s relentless efforts to scare the American people, this bill does some serious good. There’s a lot to unpack, but I can tell you that it:
- Delivers the largest tax cut in history for Americans
- Eliminates waste, fraud, and abuse from bloated government programs
- Secures the border and helps us deport at least a million illegal aliens per year
- Slashes Biden-era red tape to unleash American energy
- Funds the Golden Dome missile defense system to protect the nation from foreign threats
As you probably heard, this wasn’t a quick decision for me.
I’m all about cutting spending, so I really had to think this one through. But President Trump called me up to the White House (which felt a bit like getting sent to the principal’s office), and we had a wonderful two-hour chat about how to get this thing done responsibly.
The president was informative, funny, and put all my concerns to rest. He’s a man of his word, which is why I’m confident this big, beautiful piece of legislation is going to do some good.
I know I say it all the time, but thank y’all for sending me here. It’s humbling to think a kid from West Hills is sitting in the White House for meetings with the president of the United States—and it’s the honor of a lifetime to serve you.
