I'm back in D.C. fighting tooth and nail against Trump’s Big Ugly Bill.
I won’t sugarcoat it: this bill is bad. Not just for North Carolina, but for every single working family in the country.
This bill does irreparable harm to:
- food assistance, with the most significant cuts to SNAP in history,
- health care, stripping away $1 TRILLION from Medicaid,
- and thousands of jobs in North Carolina alone.
House Democrats are doing everything in our power to stop Republicans from advancing the bill — and Trump’s extremist agenda — through Congress. But right now, we're in a tough spot.
With majorities in the House and the Senate, Republicans are willing to rubber-stamp Trump’s every whim. The only way to put an end to this big, ugly mess is to flip the House blue in 2026. That’s where you come in.
