I just stepped off the floor after 27 hours of voting to stop Trump’s “Big, Beautiful” BETRAYAL of a budget bill.

Democrats offered amendment after amendment to give our colleagues a chance to stand up for working families. But Republicans chose to gut Medicaid, spike housing costs, raise grocery and energy bills, and add more than $3.5 trillion to our national debt — all to hand tax breaks to billionaires.

This is a betrayal of the American people, and Republicans know it.

The fight isn’t over. I will keep pushing back every step of the way to kill this bill and fight for working families in the Senate, but I cannot do it alone.
