ADL Expresses Strong Support for Israel’s Right to Defend Itself |
Following Israel’s preemptive military action targeting the Iranian regime’s nuclear and military equities, ADL issued a statement strongly supporting Israel’s right to defend itself against a regime committed to the destruction of the Jewish State.
ADL also reacted to the Iranian regime’s repeated indiscriminate missile attacks on Israeli civilian population centers across the country, which resulted in the
killing of 28 people and injuries to over 3,000 individuals. ADL’s Israel staff, whose have shown incredible resilience and strength over the past 20 months, were thankfully physically unharmed.
In response to Israel targeting the IRIB, the Iran regime’s state-run media outlet, ADL published a thread highlighting our research into IRIB outlets like HispanTV and PressTV, which demonstrates how the regime uses “journalism” to incite against Israel, Jews and others.

Carole Nuriel, ADL Israel Managing Director, addressed over 200 participants at the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) conference about the need for a broad, nuanced approach to understanding antisemitism and what ADL is doing to address the threat.
