Stop the EPA from giving industries open license to pollute.

John,

At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Trump administration’s Environmental Protection Agency—the federal agency tasked with protecting our public health and the environment—gave many industries a green light to pollute our air, land, and water.

This dangerous decision by the Trump administration allows the Environmental Protection Agency to look the other way while industries release an excess of toxic air pollutants and other pollution that exacerbate asthma, breathing difficulty, and cardiovascular problems.

Please act now to demand the Environmental Protection Agency stop giving industries open license to pollute.

Recent studies indicate that communities with the heaviest air pollution and people with preexisting respiratory conditions may face higher rates of deaths from the coronavirus. Public health and how we treat our environment go hand-in-hand—which is why we must stand up for our environmental protections now.

We’re calling on the Trump administration to stop threatening the health and safety of our communities—and we need 50,000 grassroots activists like you to sign the petition before midnight to join us.

Sign your name now to help ensure a better future for all living beings.

The decision to simply stop enforcing environmental protections—even temporarily—could be a slippery slope toward a permanent end to these necessary measures that safeguard people and wildlife.

Together we can help ensure a safer and healthier future for all living species. Thank you for standing with us today.

With determination,

Karla Raettig
