This past weekend I continued to criss-cross the district, including stopping at the Racine County Dairy Breakfast.
13.8 millionacres in Wisconsin are dedicated to farming and agriculture. Our state is home to more than 58,000farms; 95%of these are family farms. Agriculture is an important part of our state’s economy, with more than $16 billionin economic impact.
It was great to see so many families out supporting our farmers this weekend. A great way to wrap up Dairy Month!
Yesterday, I joined the Kenosha Civic Veterans Parade. It was a great event, filled with families who came out to celebrate and honor those who served.
