Right now, Trump and Elon Musk’s DOGE agency is working to undo federal regulations that prevent gun violence. Our state laws provide some protection — but only if they're enforced.
Add your name to tell the PA State Police to step up their inspections and hold rogue gun dealers accountable. [[link removed]]

Urgent update, friends.
DOGE is raiding the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) with the goal of revising or eliminating dozens of public safety rules and gun restrictions by July 4.
According to early reporting, the Trump administration is:
* Making it easier for people with serious mental health concerns to buy guns
* Allowing more untraceable homemade weapons, known as ghost guns, to flood into our communities
* Restoring gun rights to criminal offenders, including domestic abusers
* Essentially eliminating federal inspections of gun dealers, giving gun traffickers permission to break the law.
Just a week ago, the Trump administration unveiled plans to eliminate 541 of the estimated 800 inspectors responsible for determining whether federally licensed gun dealers are following the law. These moves are being celebrated by gun manufacturers, whose profits increase when more illegal guns are sold.
With federal law enforcement being gutted, the PA State Police must step up to enforce the law in our state. The PA State Police already have the authority to ensure licensed gun dealers follow the law and to take action when they don't.
Please sign the petition to urge the state police to close the inspection gap by increasing inspections of gun dealers in Pennsylvania. [[link removed]]
