John,

To say I'm disappointed in Friday's Supreme Court rulings is an understatement.

On the final day of the term, the conservative Trump-appointed majority ruled that:

👎 The Trump administration could deport migrants to countries other than their own, and that nationwide injunctions can no longer stop MAGA from violating our constitutional rights.

👎 Overworked and underfunded public schools will have to manage chaos to honor a parental "veto power" over curricular choices long left to the democratic process and local administrators.

And (in a time where the Executive is abusing power while Congress and the Judiciary are practically giving it away) they punted the Louisiana redistricting case that could have major implications for the razor-thin margins in the House of Representatives for the 2026 midterms. 👎👎👎

John, we've got to take our power back before our rights are gone for good, and that starts with electing and defending Democrats who will challenge Trump in Congress.

Today, could you make a donation to help me reach my End of Quarter Fundraising Goal before tonight's deadline, so we can protect our rights and freedoms?

In solidarity,

Hank Johnson
