Mark never expected to be in this position. Really.

Gabby was the politician in the family, and Mark was an astronaut. He always wanted to serve, but he never intended to run for elected office.

But in 2011, everything changed. After Gabby was shot, she left Congress and Mark left NASA and the Navy.

And then, in 2016, everything changed again.

Mark couldn’t stay on the sidelines anymore. If he could make a difference by helping take back control of the United States Senate, he was going to do it.

He won a special election in 2020, and then won a full term in 2022. Then, in 2024, everything changed again.

With Trump in the White House for his second term, Mark’s taken the lead in facing him down and picking righteous fights — to defend our democracy and do what’s right for Arizona and the entire country.

Mark’s in the eye of the storm. He’s getting pummeled by Trump and his allies. But he’s not backing down.
