** JUNE 29
------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to this week’s edition of the HYR newsletter, !

Welcome to a celebratory edition of the newsletter. Keeping track of all the conservative triumphs this week was wonderfully painstaking (but can be briefly summarized here ([link removed]) ). The Trump Administration is clearly not tired of winning–even CNN had to begrudgingly give kudos ([link removed]) to the White House.

The Supreme Court issued several game-changing decisions. The White House continued molding a more peaceful globe and prosperous nation. NYC flirted with socialism.

In Texas, lawmakers reiterated: our state is not for sale. A contentious murder case took a wild turn.

We break it down below.

** SCOTUS Victorious, Liberals Uproarious
------------------------------------------------------------

The Republican-majority Supreme Court delivered some incredible and consequential rulings this week.

First and foremost, SCOTUS brought an end to birthright citizenship–a huge win for America First immigration policy. No longer will people simply born in the US, regardless of their parents’ immigration status, be entitled to American citizenship. The decision effectively makes “anchor babies” a thing of the past, and cripples the practice of chain-migration.

SCOTUS also sided with advocates for parental choice and religious freedom–allowing parents to opt their children out of classes/schooling with LGBT themes in their curriculum.

Perhaps most significantly, SCOTUS quashed the use of nation-wide injunctions, which allowed activist district judges to block President Trump’s EO’s. The move allows the White House to move forward with a large part of their agenda and campaign promises which had otherwise been in legal limbo.

Justice Jackson penned the Democrat opinion in favor of nation-wide injunctions, which was written like a Buzzfeed listicle ([link removed]) . She was absolutely ([link removed]) , publicly ([link removed]) decimated by Republican Justice Barrett. In Jackson’s defense, relative to the standards of the Supreme Court, she’s an intellectual lightweight (as evidenced by this ~5 minute supercut ([link removed]) of her failing to “understand” legal arguments).

SCOTUS is expected to issue more decisions tomorrow and Thursday. We can’t wait.

** Big Apple Battles Radical
------------------------------------------------------------

Radical leftist Zohran Mamdani emerged victorious from the Democrat primary for Mayor of NYC. His voting base largely consisted of the kind of people who believe “true socialism” has never been tried, and even if it's failed in every instance it’s been implemented in human history, my college "education" convinced me ([link removed]) it might work this time.

Mamdani, a militant Muslim and political acolyte of Bernie Sanders and AOC, was born in Uganda and has only been a US citizen for ~7 years.

Mamdani’s a true believer in Marxist doctrine. He supports: the banning of guns, government-run grocery stores (if you need a breakdown of how disastrous that campaign proposal would be, read this ([link removed]) ), defunding the police, and taxing “Whiter neighborhoods” at a higher rate than other NYC communities.

If Mamdani becomes Mayor, his tenure will assuredly become an ugly reminder that--to quote Ronald Reagan, “Socialism only works in two places: Heaven, where they don’t need it, and Hell, where they already have it.”

Note: At time of writing, the Senate has passed a procedural vote to move forward with their rendition of the “Big, Beautiful Bill.” The Senate will begin a vote-a-rama (unlimited amendment offering process) tomorrow. We’ll keep you informed as to how it all shakes out and what arises in our next newsletter.

** Proliferating Peace and Prosperity
------------------------------------------------------------

To the despair of liberal naysayers, the Israel/Iran ceasefire brokered by President Trump held strong. Congressional Democrats responded in kind by introducing a war-powers resolution to limit the militaristic authority of the Executive Branch, which ultimately failed passage on a floor vote.

We haven’t forgotten when unilateral military action from Democrat White Houses was cool enough to warrant Congressional Democrats signing explosives ([link removed]) . President Trump dropped 36 bombs to wipe out Iran’s nuclear capabilities; Obama (a Nobel Peace Prize winner lol) dropped ~26,000 bombs in 7 different Middle Eastern nations only to destabilize regional geopolitics, making it vulnerable to terrorist regimes.

Where was this concern for separation of power and limiting the Executive Branch by Democrats then?

The Art of the Deal didn’t stop in the Middle East. The White House brokered a peace agreement between Rwanda and The Congo–a conflict which had been waged for 30 years. Rwanda’s Foreign Minister had long thought such a development to be “impossible.” ([link removed])

The wins kept coming domestically. The stock market is up 30% since April (don’t ever take financial advice ([link removed]) from Jim Cramer) and the S&P 500 hit an all time high. The market is optimistic in wake of the critical trade deal developments ([link removed]) with China, and Sec. Bessent’s indication that several more major trade agreements are imminent. America has made $88B in tariff revenue; even skeptical economists admitted the President may have “outsmarted us all” ([link removed]) with his tariff agenda. Gas prices hit a 4-year low.

Peace and prosperity prevail.

** In Other News
------------------------------------------------------------

* Sen. Thom Tillis [R-NC] announced he will not be seeking a third term.
* The riots in LA died down almost overnight. Isn’t it interesting how quickly the “No Kings” “protests” wrapped up after the Trump FBI and IRS announced they’re investigating the funding mechanisms?
* Speaking of LA, DHS is doubling down on deportation efforts in the city, and busted a trafficking ring ([link removed]) run by Iranian nationals; some of them were on the FBI terrorist watchlist.
* Award-winning “journalist” for the Washington Post, Thomas Pham LeGro, was arrested for possession of child pornography ([link removed]) . Shame there’s no death penalty in DC.
* The DHS announced the termination of temporary protected status for 500K Haitian immigrants in America. The immigrants in question must either self-deport or will be deported forcibly. The hypocrisy on the issue by people like Elizabeth Warren is palpable ([link removed]) .
* Jill Biden’s Chief of Staff, Anthony Bernal, has been subpoenaed for failing to testify before Congress. Further testimonial avoidance will result in a warrant, as the House Oversight Committee continues to investigate the Biden “autopen presidency.”
* Ex-staffers for the past two sitting Democrat Governors of New York have been charged with new accusations of bribery–taking money from the Chinese Communist Party ([link removed]) at the height of the pandemic.
* On the note of the CCP, Tik-Tok’ers and Gen-Z rejoice! President Trump has indicated the social media platform has secured an acquisition deal to sever ties with the Chinese government.
* California Governor Gavin Newsome is suing Fox News for “defamation,” seeking $787M in retribution. From the way he’s publicly characterizing it ([link removed]) , you’d think he was the defendant.
* A once deadly fungus discovered in the tomb of King Tut in the 1920’s (long referred to as the “Pharaoh’s Curse”) shows potential use as a cure for leukemia. ([link removed]) .
* In a similarly mind-boggling but terrifying scientific development, researchers have begun a project to artificially synthesize human DNA ([link removed]) . Have yall seen that movie GATTACA?
* Liberal pollster and statistician Nate Silver recently released his analysis of a 60,000 person poll on political leanings and mental health. The findings are hilarious and predictable. Among them:
+ Conservative women are happier than liberal men
+ Bisexual liberals are the unhappiest demographic around
+ Gay/lesbian conservatives are happier than heterosexual liberals
+ Conservatives with a post-grad degree are the happiest people in America

Who would’ve ever guessed government averse believers in meritocracy (regardless of race, religious creed, or sexual orientation) are living better lives than their lefty counterparts?

** Texas is Not for Sale
------------------------------------------------------------

Governor Abbott signed into law a measure to prevent the sale of Texas land to non-citizens from China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea. The measure may well be ultimately contested before the US Supreme Court; view whoever does challenge this law with a great deal of suspicion. How have land sales to these kinds of people been allowed all this time?

** Karmelo Anthony’s Court Quandary
------------------------------------------------------------

Texas’ own (regrettably) Karmelo Anthony, who lethally stabbed 17-year old Austin Metcalf at a high school track meet in Frisco, supposedly in self defense, has been indicted on felony-first degree murder. The tragic incident snowballed into a flashpoint on criminal justice across social media in recent weeks.

Anthony’s family famously raised $540K in online donations following his fatal outburst, but appears to have already run through all the money. Anthony’s request for a public/taxpayer-funded lawyer was approved this week, This implies his family can’t afford or isn’t interested in private legal counsel, despite the hundreds of thousands of dollars that recently fell into their lap. His family accordingly raised their online crowd-sourced donation goal to $1.4M. Here’s hoping it’s to no avail.

Note: Governor Abbott announced his intentions to reconvene the Texas legislature for a special session to handle several outstanding proposals–notably the bill he vetoed to ban THC products across the state, a measure which Lt. Gov. Patrick ardently supports. We’ll keep you updated as matters progress further.
