Dear Friends, With just two days left in June, we are in the final days for NRCAT to meet our Challenge Match giving goal! Over the past days in Torture Awareness Month, we have spotlighted some of the ways that NRCAT is working to help faith communities live their values. This includes offering new print resources, supporting local film screenings, hosting quarterly educational webinars, and organizing people state by state and nationally to advocate for an end to solitary confinement. Will you support our work by donating $25, $50, $100, or more? Your generosity powers our work: - $25 will allow us to distribute 50 "Torture is Always Wrong" stickers to a religious conference or gathering.
- $50 will allow us to buy and ship a "Close Guantanamo" banner to a faith or campus organization in the NRCAT network.
- $150 will provide an honorarium for a survivor of solitary confinement to lead a virtual or in-person screening of NRCAT’s documentary film, Torture in Our Name.
- $250 will help NRCAT provide local support to grassroots advocacy events focused on ending solitary confinement or closing Guantanamo.
- $500 will fund a training for the NRCAT National Network of Solitary Survivors.
Thanks to two generous donors, NRCAT has a Challenge Match that will match every dollar you give, up to our goal of $30,000. Make a tax-deductible, online donation today or mail your contribution to NRCAT at P.O. Box 91820, Washington, DC 20090. With gratitude, Rev. Ron Stief Executive Director | |
