There's no time to waste if we want to continue our momentum. Every day counts, and so does every dollar you can give. You can play a critical role right now during our Triple Your Impact Match Challenge.
Generous supporter Doug Cotton has pledged to triple-match every gift received by midnight tomorrow, up to $100,000. Doug dedicates this gift to Susan, his wife of 54 years, who passed away from Alzheimer's in 2023.
Doug's beloved wife, Susan Cotton, who passed away from Alzheimer's in 2023.
After a diagnosis of early-stage Alzheimer's, Doug and Susan looked to the Alzheimer's Association for resources and support during this challenging time. What they found was an invaluable source of support, compassion and community at their local chapter. As his wife's ability to communicate declined and his difficult role as caregiver became more complicated, Doug received guidance that helped him be the best caregiver he could be. As Susan struggled to find joy in reading, keeping up with friends and many of the things she loved, she found support and a community of people who understood her needs.
Doug knows better than anyone that no one should fight Alzheimer's alone. He's funding this match challenge because he wants everyone to have access to the resources they need to better care for their loved ones, just like he did.
The clock is ticking. I'm counting on you. Doug's counting on you. Most importantly, the more than 7 million Americans living with Alzheimer's today are counting on you. Together, we can further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
Your donation will strengthen our efforts to advance Alzheimer's care, support and research. From face-to-face support to online education programs and promising global research initiatives, your gift makes a difference in the lives of all those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias in your community and across the world. Thank you for your continued support.
