Hi team,
Mayor Kate Gallego has been busy getting things done for Phoenix!
Earlier this month, the mayor and the city council voted to advance some critical projects that will benefit our city for many years to come.
We’re continuing our partnership with UMOM New Day Center, which provides shelter, heat relief, and services for people experiencing homelessness. And we’re expanding the Children’s Museum of Phoenix, bringing in new exhibits, learning spaces, and experiences to enrich our children’s education.
The mayor was also thrilled to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Phoenix South Central Line expansion, which connects neighborhoods in South Mountain with downtown, and the entire light rail system with eight new stations, a park-and-ride facility, and a transit hub in downtown Phoenix.
It’s an exciting time for Phoenix, and we have Mayor Gallego’s hard work to thank for so much of it.
KATE PAC will hit its first-ever quarterly deadline on Monday, June 30th. We want to show that Phoenicians have Mayor Gallego’s back and want to see her succeed. Friend, can you chip in before our first big deadline today?
