Hey John, it’s Governor Josh Shapiro. Today, I wanted to humbly ask for your support ahead of Monday night’s critical End-of-Quarter fundraising deadline.

If you’re feeling angry or exhausted with politics right now, I can’t blame you. It feels like we’re hearing new stories of chaos and extremism coming from DC on a daily basis.

Instead of taking their responsibilities seriously, far too many politicians in Washington are more concerned about playing politics and being the loudest voice in the room. And John, families in Pennsylvania and across the country are the ones who are suffering the consequences.

Look, I know that things are difficult for so many of us right now. Our economy feels like it only works for those at the very top, and our freedoms are facing unprecedented threats. But that doesn’t mean we should throw in the towel and give up. It means the opposite.

This is a battle we can’t turn our backs on, John. Pennsylvania’s workers, families, and students are counting on us to make progress — and we can’t let them down.

No matter what distractions extremists are focused on in DC, I’ll always work to make progress on the issues that matter most here in Pennsylvania. But I can’t do it alone.
