HIV prevention, care and treatment begins with getting tested. Talk about it today!
Hi John,
Tomorrow is National HIV Testing Day, a great day to get tested for HIV and talk to your friends and family about HIV testing. Testing is such an incredible tool for staying healthy, so schedule a test today and then talk about it — in person, on social media, in that groupchat you've always thought about muting.
This CDC page can help find an HIV test near you, as well as much more helpful info!
This year’s National HIV Testing Day theme is “Level up your self-love: check your status.”
If you test negative, you can keep using HIV prevention tools like PrEP, PEP, and condoms.
If you test positive, you can stay healthy by beginning HIV treatment. Thanks to decades of fierce activism, technological advances, and scientific research that activists demanded be prioritized, there are millions of people living with HIV today who are thriving!
Getting tested is a radical act of self-care — and love. So let’s show up for ourselves and each other.
In solidarity,
