In case you missed it, ICE just had the audacity to put words in my mouth, and I’m not letting it slide.

When I heard that an ICE processing facility in my own district was being used to detain people in unacceptable conditions for days on end, I went to see it for myself. And what I saw was completely inappropriate – inhumane for long-term detention. I went on the record with my concerns, yet instead of simply acknowledging the truth, ICE got defensive.

This administration needs aggressive oversight by Congress, but the Republican majority isn’t going to let that happen.

We need to win again, but I need your help. My criticisms have made me a target. I need your support to keep fighting for accountability and transparency in Washington.
