As someone who cares about the fight to end Alzheimer's disease, you know this is one of the most important times of the year for raising awareness and taking action. There are just four days left before Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month ends — and just four days left in our Triple Your Impact Match Challenge.
We're so fortunate that generous donor Doug Cotton has pledged to triple-match every gift, up to $100,000 until June 30, to advance research and help provide care and support to fight against this devastating disease.
Doug's gift is made in honor of Susan, his wife of 54 years, who passed away from Alzheimer's in 2023. When she was diagnosed, Doug turned to the Alzheimer's Association Rochester and Finger Lakes Region Chapter. There, they met the chapter's community manager, Phil Shippers, who helped them navigate every step of Susan's diagnosis.
Your gift will help millions of people like Doug and Susan, as well as Alzheimer's Association volunteers like Anita, Aaron and Marty, who have been profoundly affected by Alzheimer's and turned their experience into an inspiring drive to fight this devastating disease:
"Don't give up. Wherever you are in the process, wherever your loved one is in the process, there is help out there. There is assistance, there is information. And you can help and make a difference, so don't give up." — Anita, who lost her mother to Alzheimer's and whose husband is living with Alzheimer's
Will you join Anita in the fight with a gift of
$16 that can become $48
to help provide care and support and advance research?
"The Alzheimer's Association played a huge role in my journey. It gave me a lot of information, connected me to a lot of support groups, and they were there to listen. They were there to hear me cry about the things that I was going through with my mom." — Marty, who lost his mother to Alzheimer's
Will you join Marty in the fight with a gift of
$50 that can become $150
to help provide care and support and advance research?
Your donation will strengthen our efforts to advance Alzheimer's care, support and research. From face-to-face support to online education programs and promising global research initiatives, your gift makes a difference in the lives of all those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias in your community and across the world. Thank you for your continued support.
